I just bought an Asus A7N8X-X motherboard and UT is now freezing on me
when I start it up. It shows the UT logo then freezes at a black
screen. It seems to be a problem with the audio because when I disable
audio in UT it runs fine without sound. I know it's gotta have
something to do with the nforce audio capability of the motherboard,
but I have that disabled in device manager so I don't know what the
problem is. Any help would be really appreciated.

Did you do a fresh install of UT after installing your new mobo? If not
give that a try, I've similar troubles when installing a new mobo and
then copying a fully installed/configured version of UT off of a back-up
CD. That's just asking for trouble.

did you reformat the harddrive and reinstall windows after replacing the
motherboard? (if using windows) If you had a different motherboard with
that windows install, you really need to start over from scratch.
