Mouse setting problem

Hi all!

I have a Travelmate 242XC laptop (Acer), WinXp Prof. My problem is the
following: Whenever I restart the computer, I always have to re-set
the connected mouse's scrolling properties. Somehow the laptop does
not remember, that the mouse should scroll for example 3 lines. It's
kind of annoying. Any ideas on this matter?
