Which Card to buy?

What I have:
Motherboard - Gigabyte GA-EX38-DQ6
CPU - Intel Core 2 Duo - E8500
Memory - Mushkin 4GB
550 Watt Power supply.

Inno3D 8800GT OC (Fried)


Looking at buying GTX 260 (Budget wise)

Is it worth it or should I rather look at 9800 Gx2 ?

Why don't HD5770? Yes, GTX 260 is good, too...

9800 gx2 old crap. I think that hd 5850 is the best for you When you chose vga overclock cpu.

Never thought about buying ATI - how does it compare to nVidia ?

in my opinion i think nvidia has better driver support but i also think that ati has beat them in the next generation of directX11 cards but i like them both

i m on the same situation althought my 8800gt is'nt fried dont go for 9800gx2
