How to stream from PC

Hey guys!

I want to stream live from my PC to Justin.TV but I have no idea how. A friend told me I would need a capture card. Is he correct and is that all I would need?

If so, any recommendations on which one to get? I would like HD recording.

You dont need a capture card if you're streaming from from the pc and not a Console.
