Set up wireless dlink110

Hello,
I have a H/P pavilion 708n with windows XP. I am trying to use dlinks dwa-110 wireless adapter. It gos all the way through the set up until it gets to the reset address then stops. I used this aapter on a newer computer using vista and it worked. can anyone help?

Are you following the install instruction regarding when to insert the USB wireless adapter ? Usually after the install, but check instructions.
