How does this look for a gaming computer at the ~600 to 700 dollar price range? Looking for any helpful feedback. If there are better parts for around the same price, or if I'm doing something wrong, please let me know. Thank you for your time.

Definitely swap that 5830 for a GTX 460 1GB as it performs at least as well, includes some other features such as CUDA and PhysX and also runs quieter and cooler.

Personally I think that case is grotesque and looks like something out of an '80s Sci-Fi movie but that's mostly personal preference. If I had $50 to spend on a case I'd get this.

Get this RAM instead. It's cheaper but also faster.

Apart from that, I'd say you're good to go. :)

$660AR, $20 cheaper if u swap 1TB with F3 500GB
