question 850 watt psu xfx!

Hello everyone! this is my first post in the forum, I'm from Argentina and sorry for my English , I wanted to ask a question to the community:

850watt psu xfx supports the following configuration:

i7-975
rampage 3 extreme
12 gb kingsnton hyperx to 2000MHz
3 x gtx 260 black edition (3 way sli).5x500gb hard disk at 7200 rpm
2x60 gb ssd
12 cooler of 120mm

or will I have to change the psu?

It wont be the optimal solution, but it should power it alright.

On load, your rig will use roughly ~810W (3 GTX260s uses ~550W, the 975 about 150W, the board 20W, HDDs 50W and the fans 35W.) With the 850BE being rated at 850W on the 12V rail, it should work, just that you wont have much headroom left.

According to this with 2x260 in SLI you will need less than 600watts http://extreme.outervision.com/PSUEngine Adding the third card you would be fine with the XFX850.

Its fine a 260 only pulls like 180 max,180 x 3 = 540 at absolute max just for the cards you fine
