APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: Within the next 90 days or so.

BUDGET RANGE: I'd like to keep it under 1000 if possible, but I can go up to about 1100 or so.

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Gaming (specifically Second Life), college coursework (non-graphic), basic Internet usage

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: Monitor, printer/copier/scanner, keyboard, mouse.

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: Anywhere that I can access on pricewatch.com is fine, Newegg.com, etc.

COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: U.S.

PARTS PREFERENCES: Any video card that is powerful enough to run Second Life without skipping or technical screwups. (The SL website is not at all helpful with recommendations.)

OVERCLOCKING: Maybe, if it will help with the gaming aspect.

SLI OR CROSSFIRE: Maybe, if it will help with the gaming aspect.

MONITOR RESOLUTION: I am not sure of what the res is on the monitor, I know it's a minimum of 1280x1024.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: I'm willing to "cut corners" on some aspects of the system if it's not required for the Second Life program. Would prefer an AMD-based system if possible.

Thanks!

Hmm i am suggesting if indeed your display has native 1280 x 1024 resolution to hit a juicy 22-24" LCD?
