FAIL- On First Build

I just built my PC following tomshardware's instructions. When I hit the power button though I get nothing. The mobo's Phase LED's flash for a second. Can someone help me figure out what i'm doing wrong? Don't know what to look for.

I did something STUPID! it's not on the list but i fixed it. I connected the 4 pin connector from my POWER SUPPLY to the sytem fan 2 on my motherboard. Then proceeded to connect the remaining fans to that line on the power supply. It made sense to me after 20 hours of not sleeping. but a good ol' nap set me back on track. It works great!
