Are Omega drivers better than ATI drivers? if so, how? if not, how?

What is the difference between Omega and ATI drivers?

Does Omega drivers have a CCC type interface? If not what?

Will i see any benefits from using Omega drivers?

Use:
Gaming (MW2, BC2, FarCry2, etc), general music, general photos, very little video, internet

In your case, you would be better off with the ATI Catalyst 10.5 drivers as you are using a modern GPU supported by current drivers. Catalyst now lets those who want to OC do so (wasn't always like that and was one "feature" in Omega's favor). Now if you were using an older GPU (like the old Radeon mobile GPUs used in some older laptops) and wanted to get more out of them, you might use Omega drivers. Bottom line, for you, use the ATI drivers. HOOAH!!!

You claim that "now", the Omega drivers are of no practical use because their only advantage in the first place was offering users an easy way to OC. So are you saying that the Omega drivers offer no performance advantage over the stock ATI drivers? Do you have benchmark comparisons to back this up? If so, I'd love to see them.
