-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: this weekend

BUDGET RANGE: $1400-1500 before rebates / shipping / tax

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: gaming

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: mouse

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: newegg

COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: USA

PARTS PREFERENCES: intel

OVERCLOCKING: Maybe

SLI OR CROSSFIRE: Maybe

MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1920x1080

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: I'm looking to spend a little more now to have something scalable for the future (hence the i7, ability to go up to 16gb ram). I won't have more than 2-3 games installed at once, so storage won't be a big issue.

REALLY NEED SOME ADVICE ON: compatability, PSU size, better / cheaper parts - most of this was modified from other posts on here.

Your help is VERY much appreciated! Thanks in advance!

No major issues with your build... Just make sure to check for combo's on all of your components for deals or switch where compareable components can be found for cheaper.

Also, you can look at the Corsair CMPSU-750TX for some savings. Your case is a decent case for cable management, so you could survive with a non-modular PSU.
