Need help with P67/H67 MB and speed of memory

Hello,

I'm looking to build my first PC and definitely going to be using the i5-2500. I do not plan to OC at all so that is fine. My question is I know I'm suppose to get a H61 or H67 MB but I see better deals on a P67 MB, so if I get that, will there be any kind of problems or can a non K CPU go with the P67?

Also most H67 MB can only use 1333mhz ram but I kinda want to get 1600mhz ram as I want to future proof as much as possible. Will I really notice the speed difference? Or will the computer blow up if I use 1600 ram on a MB that only supports 1333?

First time builder as I stated and not much of a gamer but just want the best as possible without breaking the bank. So any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

P67 is fully compatible with all Sandy Bridge CPUs.

There is a small improvement when going from 1333 to 1600 memory. Would the average person be able to tell the difference? Nope.
