ok i keep flipfloping on this and its delaying my ordering. so im going to put it as a poll

A)480sli single 24in monitor

B)single 5970 eyefinity --- 3 24in monitors

heat and noise does not mater base this on solid performance only.

wow thats a hard question 480 sli would kill any game but a 5970 is all you could ever realy need

btw your poll thingy says its closed to voting.

i say eyefinity as long as it dosnt bring any game you play below 35-40 fps since thats all you need anyway.

well here is a link to a guy on youtube that benchmarked some games and his results with a single 5970

they will all take a eyefinity hit but looks like the only ones that will get hit the hardest are CW at 45 fps and D2 at 59 fps

battleforge --- 102
batman --- 113
hawx --- 164
resident evil 5 --- 119
dirt 2 --- 59
crysis warhead --- 45
cod mw2 --- 115

hes system i7 920 2.66 3gb 1333

its all up to you if the hit is worth it or not.

Err once u go higher end Fermi, no respectable reviewer has stated GTX 470/480 a better buy than HD 5850/5870 and mind you a single GTX 480 is more power consuming than a HD 5970...then there is the heat and noise (dB) at load.....not from just one but 2 GTX480s @@
