  1. wow thats a hard question 480 sli would kill any game but a 5970 is all you could ever realy need

btw your poll thingy says its closed to voting.

i say eyefinity as long as it dosnt bring any game you play below 35-40 fps since thats all you need anyway.

well ya but man 480s in sli no mater what kind if frame spike you get could ever bring you low enough to see video lag.

i couldn't choose to close to call lol.
  3. well here is a link to a guy on youtube that benchmarked some games and his results with a single 5970

they will all take a eyefinity hit but looks like the only ones that will get hit the hardest are CW at 45 fps and D2 at 59 fps

    battleforge --- 102
    batman --- 113
    hawx --- 164
    resident evil 5 --- 119
    dirt 2 --- 59
    crysis warhead --- 45
    cod mw2 --- 115

    hes system i7 920 2.66 3gb 1333

its all up to you if the hit is worth it or not.
  4. Err once u go higher end Fermi, no respectable reviewer has stated GTX 470/480 a better buy than HD 5850/5870 and mind you a single GTX 480 is more power consuming than a HD 5970...then there is the heat and noise (dB) at load.....not from just one but 2 GTX480s @@
