I deleted some files this morning that I need to get back. No problem, I'll
just do a restore to yesterday. However, when I went into System Restore to
select an earlier date, no dates on the calendar were bold, the calendar was
dead. I couldn't select any dates and there were no check points or
anything. I need to go back to yesterday (4-15-05). Is there another way
for me to restore my computer back to an earlier date.

Thank you for any help on this..

Jerry J

Jerry, check at Kelly's http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_abc.htm
Select S and scroll to System Restore.

Hi Jerry,

You need to try some third-party file recovery tools to get your files back.
Try PC-Inspector:

Try all of the stated. System restore does not bring back your files, just
"System" files.
