Yep that's a very good buy i paid that much for my 902 over 9 months ago.
Excellent quiet cooling.Nicer looking then the HAF series imo.
Foolish to pass up the deal on a well-known performance case with free shipping.
In my opinion the Antec 1200 is a beast. my friend uses one and works great for him. but why dont u look at the newer one DF 85.
however if im upgrading my case, which i will soon i would use the haf x from coolermaster. best airflow imo and would be a great builder for watercooling setups
They both seem pretty even, and with the 1200 being $80 dollars cheaper I feel it's probably the better buy. I'm pulling the trigger and purchasing a case within a few days. Which one do you think has the best air cooling? (I really don't want to mess with LC at this time)
they are both a beast at air cooling- however if you would like to use non standard sized mobos in the near future. get the haf X.
like i said before my friend used a a1200 before switching to his corsair 800D. when i looked at his case it felt a bit cramped.
I have an Antec 1200 and I can confirm it's a great case and at the price your getting it at its a great deal how ever there are a few draw backs though and i have to mention them. 1) The case could have been about 1 inch wider on the mobo side for cable management if you have allot of drives like me (2 dvd & 5 Hds) you will have trouble fitting all the cables in between the back of the mobo tray and side panel. It took me some time to plan everything out so it would look neat and the fact that i have a modular PSU helped allot cause i didn't have to run cables that i wasn't using. 2) The filters on the drive cages are useless , yes they catch dust and stop it from going into the system but to get at the dust filters you have to remove both side panels off the case unscrew the 8 screws unplug your hds and then clean out the dust. That whole ordeal is a pain in the ass and i just use an air can to blow the dust back into the system and from there vacuum everything that comes out of the case and air can the rest of the system clean. I really don't know how antec didn't think this one through and design the filters so they are pulled out from the side of the drive cage with out having to remove them. This is by far the biggest annoyance with the case because with great air flow comes great dust and you will find your self wanting to clean out the insides of the case and the filters at least once every couple of months. Besides these two minor problems ( cable management , you can do it its just tighter then you would want ) and semi major problem ( access to HD cage dust filters ) the antec 1200 is a great case !! All the speeds on the fans can be adjusted , it can hold big graphic cards . its surprisingly quiet for a case with that many fans and its really well built. I would give the case an 8.1/10. It could have easily received a 9/10 if the problems mentioned above were fixed though. Here is a good review on the case.
