Hi Cody, & Welcome to Tom's Hardware!

Give us as much info as you can about your old Dell 8300, and what you are trying to do. Also make and model # of the new HDD.

Since you got the error msg "no boot device available" I assume you just tried to swap your boot drive with a new one, possibly with a larger SATA HDD?

You have to clone all the data from your old drive to the new one, or reinstall the OS on the new one before it will work. This message just after the splash screen says your MB BIOS can't find a HDD with the Operating system on it.

More info from you will help us steer you in the right direction.
