Windows says I have a hard drive issue, among others.

I'm inclined to think that this is why my completely new PC is extremely slow, unresponsive and crashes at times. Considering the specs, it should not be doing this.

What can I do?

  1. It would help if you list your computer model or components.

First backup any important data. Then run scan the disk -- go into the Windows Explorer and right click on drive, select properties, tools tab and click Check now under error checking. If it is the boot drive it will want to do it on restart, so go ahead and then restart.
