Hi, looking for help here, My desktop powers on, fans run etc, but Oddly enough, It doesn't boot? I have tried a few things, unplugging and replugging cords, to see if I had a loose connection or something but no results, I am open to any suggestions, pretty much when I hit power the screen is blank but everything is running (Yes the monitor is on & plugged in.) So if you got an Idea, shoot me a reply.

The booting issue I think may have to do with the adapter I used, it's a 4pin molex to cpu adapter because my PSU cpu plug-in was too short.

personally i would get a powersupply with the right length cables..

if you power supply doesnt have long enough cables then i assume it would be a cheap model

what is happening to you pc - it could be anything.

this is now a process of elimination.

remove the cmos battery jumper and put it in clear mode

We kneed to know what motherboard you have, what processor you have, what video card you have.

Remove ram - listen for beeps

it could be the motherboard, processor, ram, video card or even a damaged usb port.

remove all internal usb cables and see if it boots.

all the best

Sorry for being vague, No there is no ram beeps, I'm confident the motherboard is fine, It's an Asus P5ld2 motherboard, the ram is new, I will try the CMOS idea and get back to you
