Hi Guys,
I'm considering getting new memory. I now have 8GB, PC 8500, 1066MHz. I'm wondering if 8GB, PC3 12800, 1600MHz would be better.

My System:
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit
AMD Phenom II X4 965 Quad Core - 3.40GHz
Asus M4A89GTD PRO/USB3 - AMD 890GX
Crucial Dual Channel 8GB PC8500 DDR3 1066MHz
Sapphire Radeon HD 6950 2 GB DDR5
Intel X25M 120 GB Solid State Drive
Western Digital Caviar Black 1 TB, 64 MB, SATA 6 Gb/s

The Crucial Dual Channel 8GB PC 8500 DDR3 1066MHz is CL7 that i now have
The Corsair Vengeance 8GB PC3 12800 DDR3 1600MHz is CL9 that i'm considering

I know CL 7 is better and 1600 is faster but, I don't know if the corsair is worth buying.

Any input is greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Don

Not sure when you are buying (or where you are buying from) but newegg has a 8Gb g-skill 1600Mhz kit for 75.99 with a promo code till 5/19. Seems like a great deal to me.
