Hey guys,

I'm rebuilding my current system and I'm shopping around for RAM. Two products caught my eye.

G.SKILL Ripjaws:

and the G.SKILL Ripjaws X

The X says it's designed specifically for P67 Sandy Bridge systems, but when compared to the standard Ripjaws, that is really the only difference I can find. So my dilemma right now is whether to go with the stand series or the X series. The standard series is also currently on sale for 20 bucks off. So should I go with the lower price, or the supposed P67 optimization? Any help is appreciated!

The only difference between those is the heatsinks. The specs are the same. The "designed for Sandy bridge" is just advertising. I'm currently using those exact Ripjaws in my 2500K system and they work great. Save your money and get the cheaper Ripjaws.
