Hey, i am currently using an AXLE nVidia GeForce 9800 GTX 1024MB

and going to upgrade to these parts:

650W XFX XXX Edition PSU
Intel Core i5 750
MSI P55-GD80
Scythe Yasya High Performance Ultra-Quiet CPU Cooler
Antec 300 Case
50GB OCZ Technology Vertex 2 SSD
G.Skill RipJaw 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-10666C8 1333MHz

Would the graphics card suffice for 1920x1080 gaming?

Hey :)
HD 5850 would be an excellent choice for that resolution

While the HD5850 would be a good choice (I have one and I REALLY like it), your 9800 GTX will also suffice under most circumstances. You may not be able to max out graphics and maintain acceptable frame rates, but with the proper tweaking for your games settings, it can do the job.

Yes it will 9800 is still an ok card, you can run high settings on most games, and the 1gb memory is well enough for that resolution, some games may need lower settings though.

Like the above the 5850 or even a 5770 would be much better card.

Try cheaper ram and then get a better card, card is way more important then ram for gaming.

Thank you for the quick replies. The Problem is i already have the 9800 in my current computer. Don't really wanna buy a new card if the 9800 will suffice for a while longer.

Does SLI make enough difference, as opposed to a better single card?

that's does look pretty sweet, would i need another 1gb version for it to work or would a 512mb one work to?

I'll amuse another 1gb would have better performance?

1gb i probly a good idea because a 512mb one will bring the other one down to 512mb
