Hey Guys,
ordering all my new parts.

The mobo im using is Evga's 3-way Sli x58, im using it in the haf x case.

Now this is where im confused.

The haf x has usb 3.0 ports, but my mobo does not.

Do i have to plug those ports in somewhere? or can i just unplug the cables and be fine?

you can just leave them unused with no issues other than you cant use them obv.
not sure if plugging them in would just run them at 2.0, might be worth trying?

Do not plug the USB 3.0. The case's 3.0 wires were designed to be inserted into the motherboard's rear USB 3.0 port to let you have a font connection. It's a workaround because there isn't a USB 3.0 standard for internal connectors.

IIRC the HAF-X comes with replacement USB2.0 cables for the front/top panel.
