I recently bought a graphics card, xfx GeForce 9400gt 512mb, and it has what i think is power connectors. Do i need any special cables or something to connect to this graphics card to work.

I doubt the 9400 GT would need any power connectors, although if it did all it would require would be one six-pin PCI-e connector.

I looked at a picture of a XFX 9400GT on newegg. I didn't see anything that looked like a socket for a 6 pin PCI-e power plug.

A 9400GT only needs about 36 watts. That is well under the maximum that the motherboard can provide.
