Is 1.6GHz Intel Core i7-720QM Processor

Hello,
I am buying a laptop
I am very confused between 2 processor
1.6GHz Intel Core i7-720QM Processor
or
i5
,,can u plz help me out which 1 is good for daily usage,as i7 is latest

just have a doubt if i7 1.60 is gud enogh den
Intel Core i5 520m 2.40ghz

well guys my daily usage includes i used skype 4 hours daily+ some lights games + watched movies
so in short u kan say i use my lappy 5 -7 hours a day or sum time more den dat
plz help me out as its urgent 4 me 2 buy lappy

What daily usage? What do you do? This is very important. The i5 notebook models have higher clockspeeds but the i7 notebook models have 4 cores vs the i5's 2.

Also, since you don't seem to know much about computers, you shouldn't be "buying a processor" you should be "buying a notebook". If you link us to each computer and give us your uses and what else is important to you (battery life, heat, screen size etc) we will be glad to recommend which one.

You're better off with the i5.

Whoops if you read what I had here before, I was looking at the wrong models.

The 5650 on the i7 computer will be much faster for games. The i7 quad, although you don't really need a quad, is cheaper and still fast enough per core. Plus 4 cores may become more useful in the future. Not to mention that fact that it is also cheaper. Cheaper + better = deal to me.
