AM3 or AM2+ Asus board?

Back in November 2009, I built my first PC with upgradeability in mind. It's more or less the same with the exception of a recently installed Sapphire 6950 video card. My concern is about the motherboard. When I bought it back in 09, it was said to be an AM3 board and I confirmed it with CPU-Z. But today, it is listed as an AM2+ board. The model of the board is an Asus M478T-E 790GX. My question boils down to this, is it an AM3 board or an AM2+ board?

Any help or confirmation would be appreciated.
