Only showing 2gb of ram but i have 6gb installed.. Why?

Hey,
I have a Asus x58 mobo,i7 950,6gb ram 3 modules x 2, Running window eternity 32 bit. why is it only showing i have 2gb?

    you need 64 bit in order to use all of that ram. 32 bit uses a maximum of 4gb

    Your correct, I don't know why but when i installed i had the option of selecting either 32 bit or 64 and for some reason i selected 32 so i guess i'll be reinstalling windows again,, thx alot

  4. Should still be showing you that you have more than 2GB, though. What's up with that I don't know.

    It also shocks me that someone has a 950 and doesn't know that you need a 64bit OS to realise more than 4GB of RAM :p
