Is my q9550 bottlenecking my gtx480?

Just upgraded to a gtx480 from a gtx275 and I'm not sure I'm impressed with the fps difference.

3dmark score of p20494
GPU score: 17326
CPU Score: 45397

system

q9550 @3.4ghz
4gb ddr2 800
asus p5nd
gtx480 w/ 256 drivers
windows 7 64

seems the average for this system is 23000ish and that 3000 seems to be coming from the gpu score . Could it be ram?

The easy way to find out is to put little more overclock on and see if the score goes up.

I just tried to overclock farther and now my comp wont even get to bios. Turns on but the monitors are not getting a signal .

What the heck happened and can I reset it without the ability to get in bios?

Did you not set up this rig with its current o/c ?
You usually just have to maybe unplug the power completely, from the psu. Attempt to power on, the bios on these boards, gigabyte, asus usually sense non starts and after a couple/few in a row, the cmos auto resets.
