Basically I had some DDR3 1600mhz ram which was 2 x 2gb...Long story short, one of them failed and gave blue screens so I RMA'd it (just the broken piece, the other I still have and use), and they've sent me a 1 x 4gb stick of the same speed and manufacturer. Will I be able to couple this with my original still working 2gb stick (the part whos partner met an early demise!) or do these things have to be matched in size/with their original twins?
Hope you can advise, and hopefully I will now have 6gb of RAM
