Build a pc around the memory?

Hi,

I was given 4 sticks of 2GB pc3-8500 cl7 1066.
I was wondering what motherboard & cpu combination would these be compatible with.

sorry if this is a dumb question, I've been out of the pc building scene for a while

PC3 = DDR3 mobo, your choice as to which cpu etc,regardless of the foregoing is is better in the long run to build around your psu , as everything depende upon a good and stable source of power..
