5830 system compatibility

Hey guys, I'm going to buy a Gigabyte 5830 (on sale for 200$!) and i just want to make sure it's compatible with all my system parts. it fits in my case (barely), so don't worry about that.

Athlon II X4 620 @ 3.2GHz, OCZ Gladiator 92mm cooler.
4GB Corsair PC-6400
Gigabyte GA-MA78GM-US2H mobo
Asus 9600GT
OCZ 600W ModXStream PSU
Hitachi Desktar 500GB HDD
Case with good airflow

I'm pretty sure this will work, the only thing i'm not sure about is that i think the card will cover my 9-pin usb headers on my motherboard, meaning i can't attach my 2 front panel usb ports to my motherboard . i'm trying to figure out a way around that, if anybody has any advice let me know.

It should work fine if you just take the 9600GT out of the way.
