Is geil ram compatible with kingston ram?

Hello,
I have Geil PC2-6400 800Mhz DDR2 RAM Dual Channel. My question is: can I combaine it with RAM memory from other makers, lets say Kingston, without the risk of frying my motherboard and would it work efficiently?

It won't fry your motherboard. But here is the most honest answer you'll get:

Take 2 identical motherboards, and 2 sticks of similar RAM; each stick from different makers.
Those two sticks might work fine in one motherboard but not in the other.
That's just the way it is.
