So much wasted cash, i don't know where to begin.

a 980x? two GTX 470's? and a 1200w PSU?! liquid cooling?

i understand you are into encoding and such, but how about a AMD Phenom II 1090t, a decent air cooler, 460's in SLI with a corsair 650w PSU.

you are throwing money at performance you will never use. it seems utterly pointless. with the above stuff you will still have a super powerful rig, but it will cost half as much.

Well if budget is no issue then perhaps server class hardware would better serve ya? Else

380-500W 80+ PSU
2 x 120mm capable case

60GB Sandforce based SSD
Optional : FirePro/Quadro Professional GPU (if software takes advantage of GPU accelaration, else integrated HD 4250 would suffice)
