More about configuration feedback
  1. your storage drive shouldn't be in raid 0 if its for storage
  2. please fill out the stickie in my sig.
  3. So much wasted cash, i don't know where to begin.

    a 980x? two GTX 470's? and a 1200w PSU?! liquid cooling?

i understand you are into encoding and such, but how about a AMD Phenom II 1090t, a decent air cooler, 460's in SLI with a corsair 650w PSU.

you are throwing money at performance you will never use. it seems utterly pointless. with the above stuff you will still have a super powerful rig, but it will cost half as much.
  4. Well if budget is no issue then perhaps server class hardware would better serve ya? Else

    1055T
    after market cooler
    4-8GB DDR3 1333 CL7
    880G/SB 850 w/ USB + SATA III
    380-500W 80+ PSU
    2 x 120mm capable case
    500GB-1TB hdd
    60GB Sandforce based SSD
Optional : FirePro/Quadro Professional GPU (if software takes advantage of GPU accelaration, else integrated HD 4250 would suffice)
