Hi Everyone.. I should know this but i dont so i thought i would ask the experts.

I have a vid card (cheap but alright) and i use it to dual screen. I have found tho when i play games one on screen and watch a movie on the other that it slows both.. would putting another basic card in my PC and hook the monitor i use to watch movies help.. then just have the other screen on the better card.

Thanks for any help you can give!

Are you talking about crossfire/sli? Or just buying a good card and connecting both monitors to one card? A decent ATI card like the 4650 for aroung $50 will have no problem playing movies one one screen and something else on the other monitor.

Specs are an Intel Core 2 Duo E8400@3 Ghz, Win7 32 bit with 3gig usable RAM.. my card is a VERY cheap one, a Gforce 8500 GT. I know i should really upgrade it but dont have the funds.. but can get another free basic card if i need to dual.
