How can i configure external sata port for xp

Hello,i have a mother board of asus and it has no ay sata port so i want to configure an external sata port on the pci slot , How can it possible.

Search NCIX etc. You are looking for a PCI eSATA adapter.

Simply:
1) turn OFF your PC
2) Install the card
3) turn on the PC
4) Install the correct drivers

Example:

*note that some cards are PCI-e not PCI and some have SATA and not eSATA. eSATA has both power AND data on the same cable and is hotswappble (PC need not be turned off before plugging in the hard drive).
