How big of a difference would i be looking at with that card? Also, do you know how good it would handle games?

I'm no pro at pc's and only know the basic stuff.
I'm just starting to get into gaming etc on pc.
and i built this tower along time ago, so i really don't know what i'm doing at this point. haha

I have the version with the fully enclosed cooler but the performance is the same, and it handles games extremely well. At 1280x1024 i can max a lot of games out, at 1920x1080 i can play most things on high. It should more than double the performance of your 8500GT, dont worry you wont be disappointed.

Buy your parts from newegg, best buy has a good deal once in a while but in general over charges by a lot. To give you an idea of just how bad they are, the $90 card at best buy is $65 on newegg. If you have the budget for the 4850 get it, its a lot faster than the 4650.
