1st time builder for Starcraft 2 and general purposes - $800

Hi everyone,

I have never built a computer before, but after reading some posts and articles here it seems like a fun project and not as risky as I thought before.

I am looking to use my computer for Starcraft 2 and general computing purposes (internet, watching movies/shows, listening to music, etc)

APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: in the next couple of weeks

BUDGET RANGE: $800, but the lower the better

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Surfing the internet, Starcraft 2, watching movies

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: mouse and speakers

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: anything is fine as long as it is cheap and reliable; it seems like a lot of people use newegg or tigerdirect

PARTS PREFERENCES: No preference; whatever gets me the most bang for my buck

MONITOR RESOLUTION: Since I am buying a new monitor anyway, I would like to get whatever would be great for my use; please recommend good monitors as well

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: It seems like a lot of cases have those neon light fans, but I am not a big fan of them (can those lights be turned off?) Also, I don't want my computer to be too loud. In addition, if I want to connect my computer to my HDTV, is there anything else I need aside from a good GPU?

I think that's about it.

CASE - Get the Illusion instead - Cheaper as of now and is better...
