Yet another new SSD user

I've been a long time reader here and figured I would finally sign up to get some help with the installation of my new SSD. I recently bought a Samsung 830 128GB (reliability ftw) and had a few questions. First off here are my computer specs.

Computer built purely for gaming and casual web browsing, nothing else.
i5 Ivy Bridge
Hyper 212 Evo Cooling
8GB Ram
600W PSU

Is there any additional parts I need to get for the SSD to function properly like cooling, etc? (My mobo supports SATA 3)

I'm planning on keeping my games on my HDD and my OS on my SSD. As far as startup programs go, should I keep those on the HDD or install them on the SSD due to noticable startup times? (Firefox ,Antivirus, Razer Synapse, other "driver" programs)

I have nothing on my HDD at the moment that can't be easily replaced, so I'm okay with formating drives. What's the best way to install this SSD? Would it be to format all drives then install OS on SSD?

Thanks for all the help guys, sorry for being such a newbie at this.

connect the SSD and disconnect the HDD. make sure that you are in AHCI mode and install windows. then after windows is uptodate reconnect the HDD.
