Hi,
I have the following specs:
Processor - Intel i5-750 Quad core
PSU - Antec True Power 650W
Motherboard - ASUS P7P55D-LX motherboard
RAM - 2x OCZ Technology DDR3 4gb (2X2) Intel 1600Mhz Kit
Case - Cooler master HAF922 case
Hard drive - Western Digital 500GB Caviar Black SATA-II 32MB
Monitor - SyncMaster P2450H 24" Monitor 1920x1080 2ms 70,000:1
OS - Windows 7 PRO 64 bit
Graphics Card - Sapphire ATI HD 5770 1 GB GDDR5
I have a problem where sometimes my screen will have multi color lines and then go black and then restart my computer.
I have read on this forum in a thread that it is to do with the power saving option on the graphics card which does not go well with Windows 7. Is this the case still as I can't seem to find a certain answer.
Is there a driver issue with Windows 7 and my Graphics card?
I have updated to the most recent driver and it has not changed anything, the problem seems to happen at random times aswell.
I have heard that some people have downloaded ATI Tray tools and changed the voltage on the Graphics card.
I would like to know is this a issue for all ATI 5770 or only a few, if it is only a few then surely this is a hardware issue with some of the graphics card.
Can someone please HELP, so frustrating when I am doing some work to have my computer suddenly restart.
