A few weeks ago I posted another rate my build thread, but I was unable to order the parts. Please have a look at what I've selected and suggest any advice. I'm looking to save money wherever possible.

BUDGET RANGE: £1000-£1200

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Gaming, music & videos, transcoding media, surfing the internet, molecular modelling on GPU (would be nice but not essential)

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: Monitors, keyboard, mouse, speakers

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: overclockers.co.uk is preferred

COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: U.K.

PARTS PREFERENCES: None

OVERCLOCKING: Possibly in future

SLI/Crossfire: Not intially but very likely in future

MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1920x1200

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: I would like the system to be as quiet and efficient as possible

CPU: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CP...

CPU Cooler: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HS...

Motherboard: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB...

Memory: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY...

Graphics Card: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX...

HDD: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HD...

Optical Drive: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CD...

CASE: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA...

PSU: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA...

OS: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=SW...

If anyone can suggest anywhere that I can save money or improve performance it would be greatly appreciated.

I'd say try Scan, Ebuyer and Pixmania if your in U.K. for possible cheaper prices dude, had good times with all, including returns of damages
Nice looking build though :)

Cooler: If it fits your budget, Thermalright Ultra 120.

RAM: Choose something with a CL6/7 timings. Choose G-Skill. Better than Corsair also maybe a bit cheaper as well.

HDD: WD Caviar Black 1TB.

Otherwise... Neat and tidy build. Great! 7.5/10 for what you have now.

By the way which monitor do you have now.
