So I have a m4a77td/usb3 and was recommended to look into a asrock, well while doing so I stumbled upon a MB ASROCK|890FX Deluxe5 AM3+ ready mobo, and wondering, would this be a significant upgrade? considering I do want bulldozer and crossfire

I generally never recommend to people that they buy a new board. At this time they all perform about the same, so trading one AMD chipset for another won't provide any performance boost. And assuming I found your board the biggest draw back is the lack of CF support. This isn't even that bad as CF/SLI is usually not a good idea. Unless you have the $$$ to burn or need CF support just stay with what you have.
