New usb flash drive is unreadable how to fix

Hello,
please help me, i bought kingston usb drive 8gb, when i plugged it in i put some pictures on it then i changed my mind and formatted it to delete them, after the formatting was done the drive became unreadable, write-protected and i cannot do anything with it any more, also when i plugged it in 1st time there was something already on, some kind of application but i did not run it, just formatted and thats it,. is there a way to fix it or should i just trash it. thank u in advance.

reformat, and test.

if it doesn't work, return/rma/trash

alot of USB drives come with various crapware, some eaiser some harder to get rid of. nothing necessary for use

just because it's new doesn't mean it's not bad. it had one go bad after 2 weeks. rma'd and now been using daily for months
