hi i have a p4 and it's all clean and it idles at 60-70 n 97 at full load help! and i hav a 5000rpm 90mm fan flat out and i cant aford water cooling ]: i was going to overclock to 4ghz

There is a possibility that you could achieve 4GHz but there are two notes:

1. There is no way that it will be stable. The records for the pentium 4 are 4GHz which brings me to my next conclusion.

2. Since 4GHz is the record speed, it was not only unstable (only just stable enough to boot and run CPU-z before screwing up) but it also tells me that liquid nitrogen cooling was probably used. A short-term and expensive solution. Do you have the money to buy tanks of liquid nitrogen for the next year and a jobless guy to stand at your computer continually feeding the nitrogen?
