I think I am ready to order now. I got great advice from gkay09, and changed a few items to meet my preferences. Can you guys please check to see if they are all compatible and reliable? Also, please comment on any item that I need to downgrade or upgrade

This will be my first build

APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: soon

BUDGET RANGE: $800, but the lower the better

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Surfing the internet, Starcraft 2, watching shows/youtube

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: mouse and speakers

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: newegg

COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: USA

PARTS PREFERENCES: None

OVERCLOCKING: No

SLI OR CROSSFIRE: No

MONITOR RESOLUTION: as good as my budget will allow

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: I wanted a case without all those neon lights, and specifically Antec 300. Also, I want a computer that is rather quite and can be connected to my HDTV so I can watch stuff on my TV.

Below is my build

1. I'd say that you have a top-end graphics card relative to your lower-end CPU and might suggest that you up the CPU and/or overclock it to not have your processor be the bottleneck on gaming.

2. You'll also need a keyboard, unless you left it off the 'parts not required' list by accident.

3. Faster memory will probably help you to get a good overclock; it's not really much more $$$ to get, say, DDR3 1600.

4. If you can stretch the budget to squeeze in an SSD as your system drive you'll enjoy the speed boost for general computer usage.

Thanks for the responses, guys.

jeroly, Keyboard is one item that I want to buy after seeing in person, so I left it off the list intentionally. Also, this is my first build, and I am not sure if I want to risk overclocking it or not...which RAM do you recommend for DDR3 1600? Finally, I will look into some SSDs to see how much they are

Davcon, thanks for the links. Out of all those PSUs, which one do you recommend? PSU is the one area where I really don't know what I want.

Finally, are they all compatible?
