sup guys, it has been a while since i was looking to upgrade my graphics card, first i was going to get a hd 5850, i asked here and there would be no problem, then they told me they ran out of 5850's and that they were going to get more in like 5 weeks, after that i was going to get the hd 5870, but my dad told me it was too expensive, now he ordered me an gtx 470 and its coming in like one week or something like that. now i ask, is my system going to cause any bottleneck

here are my specs:

intel core 2 duo e7400 OC'd to 3.3Ghz

4 gigs of RAM

Corsair tx650w PSU

MSI MS-7525 Motherboard

right now a 9800 gt

Samsung SyncMaster T220HD hdtv 22" monitor with a max ress of 1680x1050

any recommendation or comment would be appreciated!!! thx

More about : gtx 470 week plz

Yo dawg....

For the most part your PC will be fine, however with more CPU dependent games like BFBC2 your CPU may hold back the performance to some degree.

Don't bother to much with the nay sayers and decide for your self. You can always upgrade the rest of the rid later one so go ahead and get what you want. It wont perform as well as the rest but that doesn't matter.
