Hello,
I took my Samsung SH252S CD-RW out of my older Dell Dimension running Windows ME and put it into my Dell Optiplex GX270 which is running Windows XP and the CD-RW is being recognized and playing alright but it will not record. When I go to my device manager I have no ? that the system is not recognizing the unit and when I go to properties I see that the unit is set up to record. I also installed the latest driver for the unit. My old system used Roxio for the software but that software was for Windows ME. What software would I need to allow my XP computer to be able to record CD-R-RW?
The error message that I am seeing when I try to record any files when I run the wizard is that there is "no disc is in the unit".
