For that resolution, a HD5770 should be enough; a HD4850 will be $60 less, but might come up weak within a year or so if you plan to add more demanding games. Capitalist July 29, 2010 7:38:43 PM Whoops. Forgot to list the graphics card. It's the gigabyte Radeon HD 5770 1 gig OC card for like $149. Excited to build this next week. If you see smoke in the distance, that's my house. Capitalist July 30, 2010 6:44:04 AM LOL, wow. In true "hahah sucker you must wait" fashion, NewEgg has shipped just about everything with expected delivery of tomorrow EXCEPT my graphics card, which is due on Tuesday. If the UPS guy does come, I'll be so tempted to hit Frys and buy the card for a few bucks more and return the other one. Wish it was just the HDD or power supply. Patience . . . mosox a b B Homebuilt system July 30, 2010 6:58:30 AM Plenty of time to do some modding on the case until Tuesday. Capitalist July 30, 2010 7:13:15 AM Yeah. I think I'll order a blu-ray player for it while I wait. The LITEON one is $65, which isn't much more than the optical drive I was going to pick up at Frys (forgot to add it to my NewEgg order).
