More about 5970 setup
  1. I'd get a Corsair HX850 or HX750.
  2. You won't hit 600W even if you overclock. I do recommend modular power supplies though. Makes things look much more neat and clean.
  3. 650w+ from antec, corsair, xfx, or seasonic
  4. OC'd 5970 will hit 400W, and an OC'd phenom would use 150 at least.
  5. Can some 1 send me links of a psu under £90/$130 that will support hd 5970.
    or names will do:)

    thanks
  6. I'd look at the Ultra X 4 PSU 850 or 1050 !!! can find them and Video reviews at Tigerdirect.com

  9. Yes, that one will be just fine.
  10. I realize it's better to use 850 watt or higher to unleash HD 5970 power ;)
  11. Get a minimum of a quality 650watt PSU for non-OCed 5970.

Get a minimum of a quality 750watt PSU if you plan to OC a 5970.
