Its cooling it fine ;)

I have great airflow in my case. While playing BC2, my 285 hits 88 - 90C. Depending or not if I have the AC on.

The fan will scale up higher if need be to not let it surpass 91C.


Just run Furmark :) you'll see. Nothing to worry about!

Yeah I could see how no Vsync could cause that.

You can download MSIAfterburner and manually make your own fan speed:Heat ratio chart so that at, say, 83 degrees your fan will kick in to 100% instead of just 75%.

FYI, I have my fan to constantly run at 75%, no matter what. I could care less about noise since I have good headphones anyway.

True but i dnt wanna kill it off, im hopeing atleast 2 years from it, its only DOW 2 that makes the fan go above 50% really ive never seen any other game do it yet.

Yeah i think its the Vsync thing shame really im gna try force it through nvidia control panel :)

 
Use Afterburner and create a fan curve just like boris suggested.
