Hello,

I'm trying to find a good motherboard for this configuration. Will I notice a significant difference in speed if the hard drive is ata/600? I will use it for video/editing and some gaming. In the future i had the idea of making a hackintosh out of it aswell, but that is secondary!

Intel Core i5-750 Box 8192Kb, LGA1156 190,71 €

Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB, Western Digital1001FAeks 94,66 €

Antec Three Hundred, ATX 50,39 €

4GB-Kit GEIL Value PC3-10660 DDR3-1333 CL7 92,54 €

ASUS AH5770 CuCore/2DI/1GD5, Radeon HD 5770, 1GB, PCI-Express 148,89 €

Corsair TX650W 650 Watt 88,68 €

If you want xfire/sli capability then you're pretty much stuck with an Asus p7p55D-E Pro.

If not, you have some more options, but I'd recommend the Asus P7p55D-E (non pro version).

That's what i needed to know! Thanks

One more thing if i want to put 6 gig (3 x 2 gig) of memory because of a good price is that better then 4 gig (2 x 2gig) dual channel?

I ask this because with a triple core configuration they always put 3 gigs of ram (3 x 1 gig). I have a quad core configuration, do i have to stay with numbers that are even to my quad core to get the best performance 4 gig (2 x 2 gig) or 8 gig (4 x 2 gig) instead of 6 gig of memory?
