Raid 0 - but what disk?

Have you read any of the article about ssd's and gaming?

When it comes to gaming, the benefit of having a modern SATA 3 6Gb/s ssd is pretty much limited to loading a game faster; loading levels faster; and loading maps and charts faster. That's about it. An ssd will not improve FSP or actual gaming performance. Modern SATA 3 6Gb/s ssd's are pretty fast so a RAID array for gaming is a waste of time.

I normally recommend the Samsung 830. The 830 has a stellar track record for performance and reliability.
